Schoofs Preserve

Located in the Town of Erin, WI, Schoofs Preserve is 51 acres. This preserve contains a diversity of wetland habitats such as lowland hardwood, lowland conifer, lowland mixed, fresh (wet) meadow with a small pond, Flynn Creek and an intermittent stream. The upland habitats of the property include hardwood forest, upland meadow and a conifer plantation. The intermittent stream system is approximately 2,100 linear feet and Flynn Creek runs 1,400 feet through the preserve. Because of the diverse habitats this preserve is home to birds such as eagles, falcons and hawks; mammals such as deer and coyotes and numerous small fish and aquatic insects. Visit this preserve to hike, bird watch, or cross country ski. Pets on leash welcome.
