Hepburn Woods

Located in the City of West Bend, WI, Hepburn Woods is 20 acres. This preserve contains wooded hills and is home to wild turkey, white-tailed deer and hosts a tremendous variety of migratory songbirds. There is an ongoing effort to protect the hardwood forest by continuously removing the area’s aggressive invasive species. The extreme topography of glacial ridges and kettles epitomizes this area’s natural beauty and geological significance. Hepburn Woods can be accessed from the Ice Age Trail which runs north and south through adjacent woodlands. Visit this preserve to hike or bird watch. Pets on leash welcome.
