OWLT is teaming up with Milwaukee Riverkeeper for the 2019 Milwaukee River Spring Clean- up. Join OWLT staff on Saturday, April 27th from 9:00 a.m. - Noon in helping to pick our Milwaukee River shorelines clean of winter trash build up. Every year, our river shorelines are inundated with trash that washes ashore from periods of high water flow. Everyone who registers on the Milwaukee Riverkeeper webpage (https://www.milwaukeeriverkeeper.org/restore/spring-cleanup/) will receive a FREE river-clean-up T-shirt!
Our two clean up sites this year will be Kratzsch Conservancy (6670 Lovers Lane, West Bend, WI 53090) and Bratt Woods (1541 E Cedar Creek Rd, Grafton, WI 53024). For more information as well as registration info, please see the Milwaukee Riverkeepers online webpage (https://www.milwaukeeriverkeeper.org/restore/spring-cleanup/).
Here you will find all the river clean-up locations across South-eastern Wisconsin. You can find OWLT events listed in the clean up events as 'Kratzsch Conservancy Cleanup' or 'Bratt Woods Cleanup'. We hope to see you there!
