CANCELLED: Earth Day River Clean-Up and Membership Celebration

OWLT Volunteer Days
04/21/2018 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Looking for a great way to give back to your local environment this spring? OWLT, working with Milwaukee Riverkeeper, is organizing an Earth Day Milwaukee River clean-up day at three OWLT Milwaukee River preserves.

We will provide the gloves and garbage bags as we walk our river frontages at Riverbend, Kratzsch, and Fellenz Woods. We will be looking for trash as well as any herbaceous invasive species we might come across. Waterproof boots are recommended. Free t-shirts will be provided for all those who attend compliments of Milwaukee Riverkeeper!

There will be a team at each OWLT clean-up location so only register for one location. Registration for the event is required and can be found using the following link to Milwaukee Riverkeeper event page: https://www.milwaukeeriverkeeper.org/spring-cleanup-registration/. OWLT sites are listed at the bottom of the registration page.

After the river clean-up (9-noon), join us immediately afterwards for our Earth Day Membership Celebration where we will be celebrating the great work done by our volunteers at Kratzsch Conservancy. We will have free food and drink! We hope you can join! In order to get a head count, please register to Tom Mlada ().

If you have any questions regarding the event, contact Josh Schlicht via email, , or call the office, 262-338-1794. We hope to see you outside!
