Cheryl Brickman is a retired lab technician with the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, a position she held for 11 ½ years. Cheryl spent 13 ½ years as a Customer Service Representative in Maintenance, and Seasonal Color Coordinator at Lied’s Nursery Co. She earned a BS in Biology (Botany) from University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, and earned her graduate degree in Horticulture and Weed Science at UWSP and the University of Minnesota.
Cheryl and her husband Mark have a 15-acre farm in Mequon, Dragonfly Farm that is Animal Welfare Approved for pastured hen and goose eggs. She owns a garden design, biological consulting business, Dragonfly Farm Design LLC. Cheryl has served on boards for the following organizations and non-profits: Animal ARC, Wisconsin Humane Society, Planned Parenthood, University of Wisconsin – Madison School of Veterinary Medicine Board of Visitors, Mequon Nature Preserve, Medical College of Wisconsin – Women in Science Founding member and Advisory Board, Milwaukee River Revitalization Council, and currently serves on the Land Conservation, Stewardship, and Executive Committees of OWLT.
