Process
- In June or July hunting application notices are e-mailed to hunters interested in hunting OWLT properties.
- Application process will be provided for and completed on-line (unless otherwise requested)
- Your application is put into a lottery-style pick for each property.
- Your odds of being selected—We select 30 hunters total. We receive approximately 60+ applications.
- Hunters are asked to volunteer for 10 hours of service. Many hunters will volunteer at the sites they are selected for hunting so they familiarize themselves with the property.
Can I walk my dog on your property and does it have to be on-leash?
Dog policy:
- All OWLT owned properties permit dogs
- Mequon Nature Preserve is on-leash always.
- Do not want wildlife disturbed or others enjoying our property.
- Please do not let your dog(s) disturb the wildlife or others enjoying the property.
